Not Every Handicap is Visible
My mom, now passed, had COPD for the last 15 or so years of her life. Her doctor arranged for her handicapped placard because she could not walk very far without having difficulty breathing, especially if the weather was hot. To look at her walking from her car into a store, you would not have seen her disability, but it was there. While I am all for cracking down on misuse of the placards by able-bodied people, please do not add abuse to the disabled whose disability you cannot see.
