- HeatAlert™ monitors temperature and humidity every 15 minutes, using wet bulb/dry bulb algorithms, convert it to Heat Index which is also required by NOAA/OSHA standards, and alert you by flashing light. Heat Index is the combination of temperature and humidity.
- ‘Amber’ flashing LED indicates moderate heat risk while ‘Red’ flashing LED indicates high risk. Enhanced visual LED (Xenon) strobe light warning can be uniformly understood by everyone.
- After seeing the flashing light, you can enact your company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), in accordance with the NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) /OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Act) standards.
