Product Description

Prevent accidents by alerting motorists of oncoming freezing road conditions which are hard to gauge from a distance. These are placed on delineator posts and used in a series (based on traffic sign rules) to protect bridge approaches, mountain roads, etc..

IceAlert Roadway Reflector Safety Sign changes color to indicate icy conditions.
Recommended for city, county and state governments for roadway use. Not recommended for commercial properties.

Thermostatic bi-metal coil indicator wheel changes from silver to blue signaling freezing temperatures, or the potential for ice.
The star pattern design on the indicator reflects silver at temperature above 37° F. When temperatures are 32° or below it reflects a blue star.
Unit is liquid welded making it 100% waterproof and effectively preventing any sort of climate from forming on the inside of the plastic shell.
6" indicator has a stainless steel anti-theft plate with pre-drilled holes top and bottom for mounting.
It is recommended to install the sign in a shaded area and away from direct sunlight which can affect the temperature-sensitive indication.
